- Objectives of the Workpackage
Studies in our final experimental workpackage will seek to identify small molecules from SME Bicoll’s library of unique plant-based chemicals with the ability to alter miRNAs in cell and animal models. Beginning with developing a novel screening assay, molecules with miRNA effects will be advanced for pre-clinical testing as potential anticonvulsants or anti-epileptogenic drugs.
